I was recently visiting my sister in South Shields, she recommended me to get some relax treatment in this clinic and learned they did acupuncture. And the owner was a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor practiced acupuncture for more than 30 years. So i decide to get treatment for my back pain that has been persistent for many years. Now, i am one of those people who dont believe in these alternative medicine nor do i like needles (haha).. but hey, it was like only £ for an hour long session.. so i decided to give it a try. First of all, it was not painful at all. Cant even feel the needles. I guess they use these new disposable thin needles which was only used once and they are so thin and i couldnt feel it going in my body. Oh and the doctor asked me about my pain before she told me where and how she would treat me. Basically, i had a bunch of needles in my lower back and some on my neck and hand. I thought it was strange since it was my first time. But hey, no backing out now. And I am so glad i did it! My back pain is gone! I am not even joking. Years of learning over, slouching, working and studying over the computer.. and one session of acupuncture cleared my back pain. I dont know how long it will last. But if comes back, i will go to this clinic again! Thank you so much Dr. Max!

Five weeks after the first accident I was concerned that remedial treatment with the NHS had not properly begun. This was attributable to the nature of the situation rather than any fault of the staff. They were excellent. Nevertheless, I judged that the injuries would require an immediate, intensive intervention on a regular basis, otherwise there would have been the danger of knee-lock. In addition, I was totally unable to raise my right leg when lying on my back which made me think that the paralysis might have been permanent. This caused me to be alarmed.
Dr Max was able to offer the kind of remedial treatment that I was seeking. I visited his clinic every day for over 3 weeks for intensive sessions. It soon became evident that his expertise was very impressive. He augmented acupuncture by his extraordinary skill in body manipulation. Moreover, he was able to answer every question I posed with his considerable professional knowledge. He was always focused once treatment was in progress.
I noted significant progress over the timescale of just over 3 weeks. He has brought me to a state in which the basis has been laid for a complete recovery though this will take time. If it had been possible to prolong my treatment I would not have hesitated but I am now in a much better state thanks to Dr Max.
I am deeply grateful that he was able to offer me this treatment. His unique approach is a great asset to the North East of England. I highly recommend him.

2 days after starting some tablets from here and I got my period back I couldn’t believe it! TWO DAYS! After being ignored for 10 months!
I was absolutely terrified having the acupuncture for the first time but honestly it was fine! My moods better & my pain is improved, I have had 2 acupuncture sessions now and each time felt great afterwards.

Just wanted to say a hug thank you to Dr Ma for his brilliant and amazing treatments for our sons eczema!
Our 5 year old little boy suffered atopic eczema of moderate severity, affecting his arms, legs, neck and back. We’ve tried everything… went through at least 4 different steroid creams, bath additives and moistures.. went to see private dermatologist and nothing really worked.. his eczema was getting worse and we had months of sleepless nights… 😔
I had an online consultation with Dr Ma and shared some pictures of my sons affected areas. With the treatments Dr Ma advised, his eczema disappeared gradually within a week!! my partner goes to see Max for pain relief due to slip discs in his lower back, I had covid last year and still had a very persistent cough, he mentioned this when on a visit and Max sold him some herbs and it had settled within 24hrs, so when I had excruciating pain in the serratus anterior area ( shoulder blade to armpit) no pain relief remedies would touch the pain, I went to see Max and after 4 sessions of acupuncture I am pain free. He is little a miracle worker.
